Services

From the press to your drop points

Coldset printing

Web-offset coldset printing for local and regional newspapers, catalogues, comics, zines, handouts and other publications. Weekly, monthly, bi-monthly or one-off runs, printed from your print-ready files to a schedule we agree together.

  • Formats: tabloid (our typical run), broadsheet and quarterfold
  • Comics, zines and handouts
  • Run sizes: from small specialist titles to large weekly mastheads
  • Various stocks and colors available, ask our staff.

Inserting, distribution and partners

Your paper can go straight from the press through our mechanical inserting line, so catalogues and flyers arrive already inside each copy. We then deliver finished copies to your drop points.

  • Mechanical inserting of catalogues and flyers into your publication
  • Delivery to your agreed drop points across Perth
  • Need something beyond coldset? We have relationships with a number of commercial printers, so we can combine and collate the job and you still deal with one printer.

Our story

Started by the papers we print

When a major Perth newspaper print site closed in March 2023, many of the city's independent newspapers were left in a precarious situation. They asked for an alternative, so we fired up the presses. Today our team is made up of highly skilled, experienced newspaper printers.

We stay flexible in how we work with each customer, because the longevity of your paper is the point.

Faint heart never won fair maiden.

Our motto is Ink & Integrity

Ink

Our commitment to a quality product and genuine customer service.

Integrity

Dealing fairly, honestly and transparently, with a long-term view. We treat our customers as business partners. Our incentives are aligned with yours: we grow when you grow, and our business relies on yours, so we'll always do what we can to support you.

Why local news matters

A healthy democracy needs its local paper

Local newspapers are where communities find out what's happening on their own streets: council decisions, local businesses, schools, sport and the people next door. They hold local power to account, give a voice to people who would otherwise go unheard, and break down barriers between neighbours, businesses and decision-makers.

Every independent paper that stays in print also keeps local journalists employed. Protecting that is the reason we exist, and it shapes how we treat every customer.
